With a message on your Facebook page, Chris Pfeiffer has announced that he is retiring from stunt riding, his passion and his work in the last 20 years. The four-time world champion has made a legendary name for himself within the stunt riding art, not only for his talent shown in competition but for his massive shows throughout the world and his spectacular videos that have become popular in these years on the back of his motorcycles BMW in collaboration with your sponsor Red bull.
Chris pfeiffer give up motorcycle stunts, an indispensable figure if we have to talk about the world stunt. We hope everything goes well for you! Here is his short farewell message:
Dear friends, fans and colleagues,
I’ll be brief: After 20 years as a professional pilot, I have decided that it is time to leave the shows. Now I am 45 years old and in recent months I have felt more and more that it is very hard for me to perform at the highest level. It has been my motto and I have always said that if I can’t get any better then it would be time to drop out and leave the ground free for younger riders.
In the last 20 years I have participated in thousands of shows around the world (94 countries!). It has been an unforgettable experience with countless adventures and experiences. I have worked hard to bring the sport of stunt riding to the general public and excite, excite and entertain many viewers. What wonderful times I have had!
My last competition was in 2010 and not long ago I did what will probably be my last show. But one thing is for sure, I will not stop riding a motorcycle, because it is my life. That will never change.
Many thanks to all of you!
