FIVE CONCEPTS OF MOTORCYCLES WITH HIGH-END CAR BRAND
Sometimes high-end car designers get inspired and develop two-wheeler concepts. Such is the case of the designers of Petrolhead from Daydreaming who have created these five high-end car branded motorcycle concepts.
1.- Porsche Design Alternative Motorrad Konzept
It is well known that Porsche copes with Harley-Davidson on the engineering side, in particular with the VR1000 pilot and the revolutionary engine that debuted in the V-Rod. What is not as well known is this 1978 motorcycle concept based on a Yamaha SR500. As with most automaker-derived concepts, the concept has high ambition for style but little practicality. Starting with the tires so little functional.
2.- Amir Glinik’s’ Ferrari motorycle
What would a motorcycle made by Ferrari? The designer Amir glinik decided to find out, and came up with an amazing concept developed in 3D. Some time ago the images went all over the web, proving that Maranello and motorcycles are an (unauthorized) intoxicating mix. These days, Glinik still maintains his concept in the virtual world.
3.- Lamborghini Design
Lamborghini designed this concept that is between the dividing line of reality and concept, it is a French project carried out in the mid-1980s. In those days, Brothers Mimran owners of Lamborghini, Y Patrick Mimran design specialist came together to create a bona fide Lamborghini motorcycle. The concept featured an aluminum frame and an engine Kawasaki.

4.- Lotus C-01
After two years of careful planning and intense development, Kodewa is pleased to announce that the prototype of the world’s first motorcycle from the legendary brand Lotus, now registered and ready for action. Kodewa has been licensed to produce the motorcycle for the Group Lotus plc, the famous sports car manufacturer and engineering consulting.
The C-01 combines great power through one motor V-twin with a distinctive body designed by Daniel Simon, integration of carbon fiber, titanium and aerospace grade steel.
5.- Lauge Jensen ‘Viking’
The Danish company Lauge Jensen I develop this concept from the car designer Henrik Fisker, best known for the Aston Martin DB9 and the Fisker Karma sports sedan electric. It is an excellent example of classic cruiser design, powered by a S&S V-twin originally Harley pushing 100bhp. The Viking will exceed 130 mph, but it also meets impending Euro IV emissions regulations.
