HONDA CONCEPT CB TYPE II
Honda has presented its new Honda Concept CB Type II during the Osaka Motorcycle Show. At first glance you can see the tremendous difference in Honda CB Type I
The Honda Concept CB Type II follows the foundations of its retro range CB1100 which serves as a guide for the new creations of this air-cooled model, although more sporty elements have been added that could improve its performance.
Among the most prominent changes is the use of manifolds and an Over Racing exhaust that gives it that more sporty look, Brembo radial callipers, Showa fork with Honda Multi-Action System (HMAS) technology and two Öhlins rear shock absorbers. Also notable is the use of carbon fiber as a material in various places such as fenders, air filter, single-seat cover, headlight, and fork bars.
Unlike the Type I, the Honda CB Type II has sportier-cut alloy wheels that also add to that slightly more racing look.
Visually the new painting is more inspired by the wave cafe racer, with a polished finish for the gas tank (different from the one seen so far on the CB1100) and gray for both side covers and gold details on the suspensions.
