The sport of motorcycling is generally associated with the male gender, or at least it is men who mostly stand out in this discipline, but like everything in the world there is an exception, such is the case of María Herrera, a woman whom he is not afraid of adrenaline, curves or high speed.
For those who do not know Maria Herrera is a 19-year-old Spanish girl who at her young age has marked the history of motorcycling with her name for being the first girl to achieve a victory in the CEV, (Spanish Speed Championship). With the team Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0.0, beating the Spanish Jorge Navarro.
María is the daughter of the pilot who currently competes in the Kawasaki z cup belonging to the FIM CEV Repsol, and it was precisely because of her father’s influence that María awakened her interest in motorcycles. Since the year 2004, Maria has been competing in different motorcycling championships.

We want to remember the historic day –May 26, 2013– in which María did become the first champion in the CEV
