The Montesa Cota 4RT brings important news for its 2017 model, which will hit stores next September for a price yet to be confirmed. The new Montesa Cota abandons its original red color, changing for white. This new graphic line is combined with blue and red details and with the aluminum fuel tank. In addition, the Tech front fork now has chrome bars and black bottles.
The Montesa Cota 4RT will continue to have two versions, standard and the Race Replica, with the Repsol Honda HRC colors worn by Toni Bou, Takahisa Fujinami or Jaime Busto in competition. To recognize that it is the 2017 version, you will see that it has an M for Montesa on the rear wing.
The starter lever of the new Montesa Cota 4RT is now longer to make it easier to start. The engine continues to be similar to last season, with the 260 cc displacement and 4-stroke engine that debuted a new higher-flow fuel pump. Along with this modification, changes were made to the bike’s electronic injection management to offer a fuller power curve at low and medium revs.
