THE HAPPEST GIRLS RIDE A MOTORCYCLE
A study conducted by Kelton and requested by Harley-Davidson, where he interviewed 1,013 adult female riders and 1,016 adult women who are not riders, showed that women who ride their own motorcycles are remarkably happier in life and in relationships than women who do not travel by motorcycle.
According to the study, more than half (53 percent) of the women who ride their motorcycles cite it as a key source of happiness and almost three in four (74 percent) believe that their lives have improved since they started riding motorcycles.
“Riding a motorcycle is a way of feeling freedom and free expression, so it makes sense that female riders are happier in life and generally feel more fulfilled,” said Claudia Garber, Extension Director of Women for Harley-Davidson.
The results make it clear that riding a motorcycle greatly improves a woman’s feelings of overall self-worth. Here are the comparisons between women who travel by motorcycle against those who do not:
The study also reveals a significantly better partner relationship between women who ride a motorcycle versus those who don’t. We can only conclude that the happiest girls ride motorcycles.
